Proptz is a referral-based real estate platform where users can:

• Register as agents or referral partners
• Submit property leads and referrals
• Track referrals and earn rewards

We are a technology platform only. We do not act as property owners, brokers, or financial institutions.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide:

• Name, email address, phone number
• Date of birth (for age verification - must be 18+)
• City or locality (you enter this manually)
• Bank account details (for reward payouts only)
• Referral details (client name, contact info, property preferences)
• Profile photo (optional)

Information Collected Automatically:

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• IP address (used to determine approximate city/state)
• Usage data (features you use, time spent on app)

What We DON'T Collect:

• GPS location or precise location tracking
• Advertising IDs
• Payment card details (handled by payment processors)
• Health, religious, or biometric information

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process referrals and connect you with real estate partners
• Send you referral updates and notifications
• Process payouts
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Prevent fraud and ensure security

We do NOT sell your personal information.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We share your information only when necessary:

All partners must keep your data secure and confidential.

5. Referral Consent

Important: When you submit a referral, you must have the referred person's consent.

• Referred individuals receive an SMS/email notification
• They can opt-out within 48 hours by replying "STOP"
• If they opt-out, their data is deleted immediately

• Account data: While your account is active + 90 days
• Referral data: 3 years (for records and disputes)
• Financial records: 7 years (required by tax laws)
• Analytics data: 14 months (anonymized)

Website: Uses cookies for essential functions, analytics, and preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Mobile App:

• Does NOT use browser cookies
• Uses Firebase Analytics to understand app usage
• You can opt-out: Settings > Privacy > Analytics

Proptz is only for users 18 years and older.

• We do not knowingly collect data from minors
• If a minor account is discovered, it will be deleted immediately

Parents: Contact privacy@proptz.com if you believe a minor has created an account.

11. Account Deletion

How to Delete Your Account:

• Option 1: Profile (Bottom Tab) → Edit Profile → Delete Account (in-app)
• Option 2: Email support@proptz.com with your registered email

What Happens:

Deleted immediately:

• Account and profile information
• Login credentials
• Referral data
• Uploaded images

Kept for legal reasons:

• Transaction records (7 years for tax compliance)

Processing time: Immediate or within 7 days

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

• Material changes: We'll notify you by email (30 days notice)
• Minor updates: Posted in the app and on our website

Continued use of Proptz means you accept the updated policy.
